She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton L. Whittington and Nannie Forman Whittington; and her siblings, Dutchie Whittington and Polly Wilkinson. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Richard "Dickey" Smith; her children, John Sage Vinson Smith (Kirsten) and Piper Lowry Smith (James); her sister Rebecca Riggar; her grandchildren, Dempsey O'Donovan, Cian, Reed McMurry, Allie, Willow Smith and Hazel Smith; and her great grandchild Jack Dempsey Garrison. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church - St. Joseph (711 Plank Rd, St Joseph, LA 71366). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
