She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Kenneth Fournet, Sr. and Elsie Cooper Fournet; and her siblings, Cynthia Fournet Moore and Ronald David Fournet. She is survived by: her husband Donald Richter; her children, Ryan D. Richter (Jessi), Joseph T. Richter, Laurie A. Barnwell, Melissa M. Richter, Jonathan P. Richter (Angelle) and Jason B. Richter; her stepmother Patricia Fournet; her siblings, Kenneth Fournet, Jr. (Rachel), Dr. Timothy Fournet (Liz), Carrie Curet, Cheryl Lambert (Mark) and Susan Elaine Fournet (Flabio Perez); and her grandchildren, Thomas Richter, Blaine A. Duplechain, Ethan Barnwell, Noah Richter, Mason Richter, Arianne Richter, Hayes Richter, Elliot Richter and Haiden Richter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home (112 N New Market St, St Martinville, LA 70582). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
