He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilla Marie Alexander Giles and Thomas Otto Giles, Sr.; his siblings, Patsy Maxine Riley, Deloris Jean Hart, Miriam Gennett King, Mary Dotty Segebarth, Jimmy Giles and Tommie Giles; and his grandson Timothy Lee Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Nelda Joyce Miller Giles; his children, Pamela Johnson, Sandra Walker (Bryant), Tammy McBride and Dustin Howell; his grandchildren, Brandy Harmon (Rick), Jacques Barnard, Dana Arnold (Garland), Katie Walker, Steven Walker (Leah), Cody Boyett, Sage Boyett (Megan), Jeffery Beshea (Amanda) and Anthony Withers; and his brother John Doyle Giles. He is also survived by "Papaw"; along with a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
