We announce the death of James Robert Dodson of Sarepta, Louisiana, who passed away on August 6, 2026, at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his father James Carroll; his former wife Kathy Lynn Dodson; and his son Michael Raymond Dodson. He is survived by: his mother Jo Ellen Timmons Dodson of Canton, TX; his wife Mary Ann Lester Dodson; his grandchildren, Alyssa Dodson (Alec Davis) and Broc Dodson; his stepchildren, Karen Voohries (Cody) and Stephen Brasher; his great grandchildren, Tressie Howell, Michael Rodgers and Alice Davis; his stepgranddaughter Savannah Brasher; and his siblings, Sue Young and Greg Weber. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
