It is with sadness that the passing of Shelton Ambrose Daniel Sr. of Sarepta, Louisiana is shared. Shelton, born on August 14, 1937, passed away on August 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Daniel and Corinne McCollum Daniel; his daughter Shelley A. Feist; and his siblings, Lewis Edwin Daniel, Robert Daniel and Dovie Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Smigiel Daniel; his son Shelton A. Daniel, Jr. of Benton, LA; his sisters, Dorothy Hutto of Minden, LA, Glenva Hines of Emerson, AR and Carolyn Campbell of Fort Worth, TX; his grandchildren, Bailey Feist and Braxton Feist; and his sister-in-law Margie LeMay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home - Springhill (304 First Street, Northwest Springhill, LA 71075). Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
