It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bert Sison (Schriever, Louisiana), who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bert Sison to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Sison and Joyce Sison; and his sister Jo Ann Sison Gennusa. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Elizabeth Sison; his sons, Jeffrey Paul Sison and Timothy Raymond Sison (Brenda); his grandchildren, Cole Alexander Sison, Aiden Charles Sison, Emily Madison Sison and Alexis Lee (Seth); his great grandchildren, Ray and Nero Lee; his siblings, Barry Sison (Rachel) and Roxanne Sison Armbruster; and also Bert.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church - Chacahoula (2128 Bull Run Rd, Schriever, LA 70395). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation or the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
