It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Mae Chiasson of Schriever, Louisiana, born in Thibodaux, Louisiana, who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Chiasson; her parents, Nealy J. Chiasson and Inez Thibodaux Chiasson; and her siblings, Gilbert, Junius Chiasson, Gladys "MiMi" Richard, Marie Barrilleaux and Delores Mire.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Chiasson, Todd Chiasson, Michael Chiasson and Tommy Chiasson; and her siblings, Emma Mire and Alton Chiasson. She is also survived by grandchildren,; great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Bridget Catholic Church (100 LA-311, Schriever, LA 70395). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
