He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Rhodes and Annette Palmature Rhodes; his daughter-in-law Deana Rhodes; and his siblings, J. T. Chiasson, Louann Rhodes McIntyre and Bonnie Rhodes Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Zeringue Rhodes; his children, Lynette Rhodes McCarra (Cary), Tammy Rhodes Rose (Clinsey) and Steve James Rhodes; his grandchildren, Jackson, Kayla, Trey, Ryan, Matt, Courtney and Adam; and his brothers, Reed Rhodes (Tracy) and Maurice Rhodes (Gladys). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
