He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam "Chuck" Istre, Sr. and Beverly Alexander Istre; his son Stephen Istre; his great grandchild Shiloh Naquin; and his brother Adam Istre, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughter Gabrielle Parfait; his grandchild Christian Naquin (Zachary); his brother George Istre (Marie); his siblings' children, Shantel Sonier and Travis Istre; and his brother Gail Istre.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the New Beginnings Community Outreach Church (194 LA-665, Montegut, LA 70377). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
