She was predeceased by: her parents, Rossie Clyde Harris and Lydie Duplantis Harris; her daughter Whitney Leigh Voisin; and her brother-in-law Ronald Rabalais. She is survived by: her husband Christopher David Layfield; her daughter Shelley Aucoin (Scott); her grandchildren, Alyssa Aucoin (Jordan Guste), Roni Mire (Austin) and Madison Allemand; her great grandchildren, Tobi Leigh Mire and Grayson Paul; and her siblings, Marc Harris (Brenda), Rossie Harris, Jr. (Rena) and Janet Rabalais. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
