He was predeceased by: his mother Frankena Marie Lyons Olivier; his brothers, Norman Joseph Olivier and Lowell Paul Olivier; his nephew Nicholas Paul Olivier; and his great-nephew Joel Morris Olivier.
He is survived by: his sons, Samuel Olivier (Crystal) of Lafayette and Mason Olivier of Youngsville; his father Morris Olivier, Sr.; and his siblings, Charles Ray Olivier (Carolyn) of Many, Morris "Joe" Olivier, Jr. (Candace) of Ragley, Sylvan Olivier (Melissa) of Church Point, Amanda Credeur (Boo) of Carencro and Faye Marie Walters of Lafayette. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church (610 Rain Tree Trail, Lafayette, LA 70507).
