She was predeceased by: her father Hillard "Bud" Lapoint; and her brothers, Carl Lapoint, Larry Lapoint and Robert Lapoint. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Elkins; her son Casey Elkins; her mother Mary Anne Lapoint; and her siblings, Wayne Lapoint and Cindy Lapoint.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Delhomme Funeral Home - Scott (705 Marie St, Scott, LA 70583). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (1110 Old Spanish Trail, Scott, LA 70583).
