With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lovenia Andres of Scott, Louisiana, who passed away on January 11, 2022 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lovenia Andres to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clesma Andres and Auntoinette Jolivette Andres; and her siblings, Roy Andres, Youlon Andres, Justin Andres, Pete Andres, Stafford Andres, Justiliean Andres and Earl Andres.

She is survived by : her daughter Verna Dean Ruffin; her granddaughter Adrianna Dominique Lyons (AD); and her children, Kim Kelly, Brien Syrie and Wayne Bernard (family: Julia, Ernest, Rachel Battle). She is also survived by her nieces, nephew, great nieces, great nephews, and extended family.

Yet those experiencing it during this pandemic have experienced in ways that are heart-wrenching.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that anyone wishing may contribute to Waterbury Promise, a scholarship fund established for students in Waterbury, CT.

“Ms Lovenia brought joy to our hearts when were missing our family while in Tennessee. Her smile and loving embrace will never be forgotten. Verna you tasked Marian with helping your mother learn Facebook but she touched Marian’s heart in such a memorable way. I am forever grateful for the wisdom she imported into her. She always said we were family. Today I’m saddened because we have lost a beautiful person heaven has gained a beautiful Angel. We love you and AD. Janet B. & Marian Morgan”
