The family announces the passing of Marlene Comeaux of Scott, Louisiana on August 21, 2026. Marlene, born on October 27, 1956, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Comeaux and Laura Comeaux; her brother Linden Comeaux, Sr.; her sister-in-law Barbara Comeaux; and her great-nephew Cayse Leger.
She is survived by: her brothers, Patrick Comeaux (Kathleen) and Craig Comeaux (Raye Ann "Tiger"); her nieces and nephews, Stacy Landry (Matt), Wesley Comeaux (Cheryl), Kellie Mule (Richard), Linden Comeaux, Jr. (Kelli), Christy Hebert (Jake), Brandi Simon (Justin) and Ashley Leger (Brayton); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Emerson Landry, Breaker Landry, William Mule, Caroline Mule, Luke Comeaux, Alex Comeaux, Hayden Louviere, Rylee Comeaux, Hope Hebert, Ella Simon, Jase Simon, Jon Spell, Finley Simon and Coen Leger. She is also survived by her family, her many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the VFW Post 9822 (120 V F W Rd, Duson, LA 70529). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request a donation be made to either the VFW Auxiliary (https://aaf1a18515da0e792f78-c27fdabe952dfc357fe25ebf5c8897ee.ssl.cf5.rackcdn.com) or the DAV Auxiliary Unit 2 in memory of Marlene.
