She was predeceased by: her parents, Berchman Venable, Sr. and Laurence Latiolais; her husband Melvin "Porky" Sonnier; and her siblings, Mildred Credeur, Davis Venable, Thelma LeBlanc, Clarence Venable, Norman Venable, Floyd Venable, Irvin Venable, Myrtle Mae Venable, Shelby Venable and Harold Venable.
She is survived by: her brother Berchman Venable, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; along with a great-great niece.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Delhomme Funeral Home - Scott (705 Marie St, Scott, LA 70583). A rosary will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (6110 Mire Hwy, Church Point, LA 70525). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery (6080 Mire Hwy, Church Point, LA 70525).
