Though Shirley Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ozzie V. Hodges Walker and Osmand Bill Walker; and her daughter Shana Tyler Lowe Goff (George Rayburn Tyler). She is survived by: her cousins, Samuel Hodges (Cathy) of Springhill, LA, Jerry Wayne Hodges (Lisa) and Dianne Moraitis (Nick); and her grandson Austin Lowe.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home - Springhill (304 First Street, Northwest Springhill, LA 71075). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Springhill.
