He is survived by: his wife Annie Lynell Burns Smith; his children, Gary Smith (Melinda), Brenda Roberts (Glen) and Sharon Waters (Rick); his grandchildren, Rachel Smith, Elizabeth Mook (Greg), Jeremiah Smith (Kate), Jason Smith, Zacary Roberts (Stephanie), Joshua Roberts (Suzy), Caleb Roberts, Amos Roberts (Hannah), Maribeth Waters Richards (Garry), Sarah Waters Drum and Gracie Waters Campbell (Payton); his great grandchildren, Katie, Lainey, Luke, Hailey, Jessie, Meyer, Ruthie, Sybil Roberts, Dawson, Hayes, Lynlee Kate Richards, Jonah, Nathan Smith, Hermoine, Naomi and Silas Mook; his siblings, Midgie Carey (James) and Bobby Gene Smith (Ruth Ann); and his brothers-in-law, James Burns (Pat) and Robert Burns (Jimmie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
