She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Pickett and Katie Boughton Pickett; and her husband Alton Gene Weldon. She is survived by: her children, Debra Jones (Jeff) and Danny Weldon (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Megan Hunt (Aaron) and Peyton Williamson (Brentt); her sisters, Carol Telano and Linda Hudson; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Weldon and Billy Brasher. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery (5218 LA-118, Florien, LA 71429).
