He was predeceased by: his parents, Simmey Harper and Laura Harper; his son Reginald Harper; and his brothers, Opliss L. Harper and Norvell L. Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Harper; his grandchildren, Christy Dunn, Christopher and Joshua Harper; his great grandchildren, Carter, Nona, Anisten and Sage; and his sister Earline Davis.
