She is survived by: her children, Dr. Donna Jane Rushing (Roan Flenniken) of Shreveport, LA, Nancy Kaye Rushing Hayes (Donald Kelly Hayes) of Austin, TX and Dr. Paul Alan Rushing (Theresa Mathis Rushing) of Shreveport, LA; her grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Dee Flenniken (James Barrow), Heather Kaye Hayes Wright (Billy Joe Wright III), Roan Jordan Flenniken (Divleen Sidhu), Robin Alyssa Flenniken Lankford (Justin Lankford), Lauren Kelly Hayes, Alan Mitchell Rushing, Amanda Catherine Rushing, James Troy Rushing and John William Rushing; her great grandchildren, Evangeline Kaye Wright and Case Roper Wright; and her sister-in-law Becky McMahen.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Stewart-Walkerville Cemetery (Co Rd 3, Arkansas 71740).
