It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Gene Lynch of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, O. B. Lynch and Mildred Lynch; and his brother-in-law Allen Peters. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his sister Charlotte Peters; his children, Leigh Anne Gregory (Mike), Todd Lynch (Sarah), Jerrie Pearson and Linda Hill (Alton); his grandchildren, Aaron (Brie), Anna (Mason), Damien (Sonja), Michelle, Rodney (Amanda) and Heath (Jenna); and his great grandchildren, Sean, Addison, Kenny, Lily, Justin and Marleigh.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Homes - Shreveport Southside (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Centuries Memorial Funeral Home & Park (8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA 71108).
