He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Tarpley and Evermae Tarpley. He is survived by: his wife Charmaine Tarpley; his children, Clay Tarpley (Carla) and Lori Tarpley Boyce; his stepchildren, Hollie Roane (Jason) and Ryan Yates (Angelica); and his brother James Tarpley (JoAnn). He is also survived by six granddaughters and two grandsons; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Aulds Funeral Home Chapel (7849 E Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71115).
