He is survived by: his children, Joseph Allen Luton (Joni) of New Caney, David Self (Wendy) of Many, Louisiana, LaFaye Saxton (George "Bubba") of Livingston and Janice Lynn Barnett (Jerry) of Splendora, Texas; his sister Audrey Edwards of Splendora, Texas; and his grandchildren, Lisa Flores, Jayme Moore (Terry), Danielle Saxton (Justin Ferguson), Jarred Manshack, Marissa Manshack, Hunter Luton, Gabby Barnett, Jaden Barnett, Logan Barnett, Sean Barnett, Xander Barnett, Dalton Self (Erica), Gabryel Garlington (Chris), Haley Alexander (Colten) and Mayci Manning (Chase).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Jesup Cemetery (199 Geoghagan Rd, Many, LA 71449).
