He was predeceased by: his father Douglas Yongue Smith, III; his grandparents, D. Y. Smith, Jr. (Meemaw Mary Jacobs Smith), L. J. Baronette and Hazel Berry Baronette; and his uncles, Ronnie and Randall Baronette.
He is survived by: his mother Ronda Baronette Smith Garrett; his brother Douglas Yongue Smith, IV (Sun-Hee); his stepfather Geoffrey W. Garrett; his stepbrothers, Andrew, James and Michael Garrett (Grace); his aunt Mary Neilson Smith; his uncles, Walter Smith (Debbie), Lee Smith (Debbie) and Doug Baronette (Karen); and also, So-Yeon, Jun-Yeong, So-Ra Smith, Charlotte and Mason Garrett.
A memorial service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Osborn Funeral Home (3631 Southern Ave, Shreveport, LA 71104).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to an animal shelter of your choosing.
