She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lloyd Wormington and Alice Wormington; her husband Charles Rodney Venable; and her son-in-law Darrell V. Rhyne. She is survived by: her children, Curtis L. Venable (Dawn), Kevin W. Venable, Jeffrey V. Rhyne (Steven) and Sharon M. Turner (Bill); her grandchildren, Justin Brewer, Mhonda Venable, Brandon Venable, Rhiannon Venable (Deanna), Stephanie Purland, James Turner and Jennifer Turner; her great grandchildren, Colton Delaney and Presleigh Venable; and her sister-in-law Darlene Venable.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Huffines Cemetery.
