She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Joseph "Bob" Mainiero of Hazelton; her parents, Albert Harold Jacob Zern and Lula Mae Ebarb Zern; and her sisters, Maxine Elizabeth Zern Morris and Elaine "Bobbie" Zern Morris.
She is survived by: her sons, Victor Mainiero (Melissa), Dominic Mainiero (Lori) and John Mainiero (Kasie); her grandchildren, Jacob (Cassidy), Zachary, Aaron (Annie), Victoria, Lillian, Bella, Ava and Miles; her great grandchildren, Landry and Rachel; and her brother Harold Zern (Pam). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Homes - Shreveport Southside (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A rosary was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (522 E Flournoy Lucas Rd, Shreveport, LA 71115). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Nwla Veterans Cemetery (7970 Mike Clark Rd, Keithville, LA 71047).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Angels Residential Facility in Shreveport, or to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Shreveport.
