He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dan Holt (JD) and Shirley Spooner Holt; and his stepson Jason Rogers Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Holt; his daughter Mindy Holt Adams; his grandson Joseph Scott Whatley (Joey); his son-in-law Kevin Adams; and his stepdaughter Monica Byrd.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Homes - Shreveport Southside (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
