He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Beckman and Michael W. Beckman; his former wife Sharron S. Zeisman; and his significant other Scoty Butts. He is survived by: his son Stefan Beckman (Kris Togias) of New York City; his siblings, Michaelene Flasch of Tulsa, OK, Gary Beckman (Valerie Chang) of Las Vegas and Deb Beckman Cockrell (James Cockrell) of Shreveport; his siblings' children, Michael Flasch, Kevin Flasch, Jonathan Cockrell, Bryce Beckman and Sedona Beckman; his great-nieces, Kyla, Alexandra Flasch, Enchanted Crystal and Enchanted Garden; Tiffany Halfon of Houston, TX and Shoshana Pereyo of Portland, OR.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Woman's Department Club (802 Margaret Pl, Shreveport, LA 71104).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials may be made to the Caddo–Bossier Cancer Foundation League, Airline Ambassadors International, or Mercy Ships.
