In loving memory of Doris Marie Gandy of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Leesville, Louisiana, who departed this world on November 21, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Legg and Ollie Self Legg; her husband David Max Gandy; her daughter Pamela; and her siblings, Opal and Gary.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Gandy (Amy) and Jeff Gandy (Kathy); her grandchildren, Bryan, Pamela, Wade and Angelle; and her sister Dottie McCarthy. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
