It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Smith Hare (Shreveport, Louisiana), born in Ruston, Louisiana, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jeff Gardner and Garnet Gardner; her siblings, Lenara Thomas, Garnet Franke, Marie Null, Betty Martin and Jeff Gardner; and her husband Jewitt Smith.

She is survived by : her daughters, Karen Harders (Hans), Diane Westcott (Butch) and Jean Weathersby; and her grandchildren, Kim Robertson, Carol Beadles, Christy Yoder, Sheila Vuckovic and Brian Westcott. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Student Ministry Broadmoor Baptist Church, 4110 Youree Dr., Shreveport, LA 71105.
