We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, Ella Marie Ward (Shreveport, Louisiana), born in Robeline, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ella Marie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ella Marie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Truly Withers and Evie Withers; and her siblings, Gracie Marie Pugh, Norma Lee Withers, Benny Ray Withers and Waymon "Pete" Withers.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Strahan (Tonya) and Melanie Cragar (Stephen Paddy); her brother Allen Withers (Delores); and her grandchildren, Colby Strahan, Lindsay and Matthew Cragar.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Marie Withers Ward (9445 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA 71118). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
