He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Nell Slater Rhea and George Elton Rhea, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Gail Reynaud; his daughters, Renee Deupree (Scott), Aimee Franklin (Mike) and Ashlee Simon (Brad); his grandchildren, Ellis Deupree (Grace), Anne Deupree, Wesley Franklin, Abigail Franklin Perry (Justin), George Franklin, Caroline Franklin, Mary Grace Franklin, Charlie Franklin, John Donald Franklin, Joey Simon, Kelly Simon and Nourse Simon; his great grandchildren, Flynn and Zellie Perry; and his siblings, Betty Deloach and Milton Rhea.
