He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Jessie Viola and Matty Lee Holder Viola. He is survived by: his wife Sue Davis Viola; his children, Glenn Dale Viola Jr. and Codie Lynn Viola; his sisters, Dot Viola Mims and Pat Viola; and his son Carl Jason Viola. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the St. Denis Funeral Home (848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
