He is survived by: his son James Michael Nolan II of Shreveport; his wife Leslie Nolan of Shreveport; and his siblings, Laurissa Henderson (Alan) of Madison, MS, Amanda Ross (Fred) of Vicksburg, MS, Margueritte Nolan of Belle Chase, LA., Tim Nolan (Nanette) of Benton, MS, Peter Nolan (Barbara) of Manchester, GA, Chuck Nolan (Sarah) of Brandon, MS and John Nolan (Jennifer) of Bardstown, KY..

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Luke's United Methodist Church (6012 Youree Dr, Shreveport, LA 71105). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Benton Methodist Church (1384 Old Hwy 16, Benton, MS 39039).
