He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Cotton and Annie Lee Cotton; his wife Tommie Cotton; his sisters, Peggy Kimball and Sharon Holder; and his niece Jackie Johnston.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle (Perry Britt); his grandchildren, Garrett Britt, Peyton Toups and Madie Flag; his siblings, Joe D. Cotton and Jan Daniel; and his siblings' children, Sarah Cotton, Jakob Daniel and Jordan Daniel. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Forest Park Cemetery (3700 St Vincent Ave, Shreveport, LA 71103).
