It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Derosin of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Winnfield Funeral Home (7221 Plank Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70811). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
