He was predeceased by: his former wife Gladys Brown Hugh; his wife Mary Robinette Hugh; and his son Billy Joe Hugh. He is survived by: his children, Julie Pickern, John Hugh, Sam Hugh, Gary Ralph, Greg Ralph and Robyn Parker; and his sister Mary. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM and at 12:30 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home – Southside (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, Texas, in honor of his great-grandson, Jaxon Morgan.
