John left this world on June 12, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Heavenly Gates Funeral Home (1339 Jewell St, Shreveport, LA 71101). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mary Springhill African Methodist Episcopal Church (4426 Linwood Ave, Shreveport, LA 71108). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Lincoln Cemetery (6915 W 70th St, Shreveport, LA 71129).
