He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Whitaker Thomas and Jasper Madison Thomas; and his brother J. V. Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn R. Murphy Thomas; his children, Alicia A. Thompson (Jerry), Kevin W. Thomas (Candice) and Terry L. Thomas (Melanie) of Shreveport, LA; his siblings, Gerald Thomas, Harold Thomas, Rose Turner, Lorraine Lee and Barbara Shepherd; and his grandchildren, Jerrmy W. Thompson (Judy), Joseah Warren, Braydon Thomas, Kara Workmaster (Charles), Kayla Thomas and Tricia Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home - Springhill (304 First Street, Northwest Springhill, LA 71075). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
