He is survived by: his parents, Robert Brooks (Bob) and Cindy Brooks; his wife Hailey Brooks; his children, Carter Jackson and Averi Michelle Brooks; his brother Austin Brooks; his nephew John Austin Brooks, Jr.; his grandparents, Francis Coward, Jerry and Helen Gaines; his uncle Steve Meshell (Teresa); his aunt Barbra Davis; his sisters, Sunni Meshell, Courtney Meshell and Harley Meshell; his cousins, Brooks Bridges (Brandy) and Jacklyn Thompson (D. J.); his stepgrandparents, Ronnie and Vanessa Robinson; his uncles, Chris Robinson (Erin) and Ryan Robinson (Lauren); and his godparents, Tony Leach and Paula Bain.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
