He is survived by: his sister Mary A. Wyandon; his nieces, Kendra Ray of Waxahachie, TX, Sharon A. Ray of Woodland Hills, CA and Denise Ray; his niece Joanne Norvell (Washington D. C.); his siblings-in-law, Rev. Ronald Brown (Betty), Rev. James Hall, III, Archie Hall, Martha Henderson, Euna Webb (Lamar), Eddie Doll Ray of White House, TX and Melba Ray of Mansfield, TX; his godsons, John Anthony Barefield of Denver, CO and James Hall, IV (Shreveport); his cousin Howard Ray (Audrey Gail (Red); his close friend L. P. Mosley (Hattie (Tyler); Rachal of Kansas City, MO and LaJay of Seattle, WA.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Good Samaritan Funeral Home (2200 Laurel St, Shreveport, LA 71103). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church (2300 Murphy St, Shreveport, LA 71103).
