In the sacred silence of farewell, Larry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Thomas and Martha Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Donnie Durant Durant (Gloria) of Seattle, Washington, Rhonda Lewis (Darryl) and Larvago Thomas of Seattle, Washington.; and his siblings, Lamar Thomas of Shreveport and Virginia Faye Thomas Murphy of Shreveport. He is also survived by one niece, a host of nephews, great nieces, great nephews, grandchildren, other relatives, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Aulds Funeral Home Chapel (7849 E Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71115). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
