With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Lowe Settle in Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Mansfield, Louisiana, who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret Virginia Alexander Lowe; her brother-in-law Jackie Kirkwood; her great-nephew Christopher Shadburn; her parents-in-law, Glenn and Jo Settle; and her sister-in-law Lori Settle Austin.
She is survived by: her father Jerry Lynn Lowe; her husband Eddy Settle; her sisters, Cheryl (Mike Harvey), Valarie Kirkwood and Virginia (Junior Adkison); her brother-in-law David Austin; her siblings' children, Miranda Shadburn (Chris), Krista Stutts (Clint), Jeff Kirkwood (Shanna), Justin Kirkwood (Joy), Johnathan Harvey (Kristine), Andy Winham (Amberly), Jerred Harvey, Dakota Adkison, Mason Adkison and Malynn Adkison; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Gabriel, Abigail, Michael, Samuel Kirkwood, Logan, Hunter, Caleb, Aubrey Kirkwood, Axxel and Stella Harvey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Prayer Group at City Church, 230 Flournoy Lucas Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71106 in Laura's name.
