We announce the death of Linda Smith Kidd (Shreveport, Louisiana), who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 82. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James P Smith and Darwin Mitchell; and her former husband Justin Kidd. She is survived by: her sister Carol; her children, Julia, Helen, James and Grace; and her grandchildren, Steven, Donovan, Casey, Eli, Grace, Tara (Toki), Ray and Morgan.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Aulds Funeral Home (7849 E Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71115).
In honor of Linda's memory, the family suggests that donations be made to an organization that reflects her love for education, animals, or reading.
