She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Hammond and Roy C. Hammond; her husband Judge Andrew B. Gallagher; her son Paul T. Gallagher; and her grandson-in-law Kace Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Laura G. Amberson (Joe), John A. Gallagher (Camille) and Patrick T. Gallagher (Mary); her grandchildren, Claire A. Phillips, Joseph H. Amberson IV (Caroline), Davis B. Gallagher, Ethan E. Chamberlain, Emma E. Chamberlain, Evan W. Chamberlain and Whitney Scroggins (Vincent Tallez); her great grandchildren, George A. Phillips and Caroline C. Phillips; and her pet Lulu.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Osborn Funeral Home (3631 Southern Ave, Shreveport, LA 71104). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (900 Jordan St, Shreveport, LA 71101). A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at the Forest Park Cemetery (3700 St Vincent Ave, Shreveport, LA 71103).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, First Presbyterian Church, or Providence House.
