It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Smith of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Artesia, Mississippi, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Huey Otis Cash and Emma Lovett Cash; her husband William D. Smith (Bill); and her son Ronald Hughey Smith (Karen). She is survived by : her children, William D. Smith (Dub) and Stephania Braselton (Randall); and her grandchildren, Theresa Braselton (Johan Bockstaele), Melissa Richey (Brian), Clay Smith (Eiko) and Celeste Smith.
