He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Kerr Self; and his wife Rachel King-Self. He is survived by: his father Marvin Self; his daughter Audra Jean King-Self; his siblings, Malcolm Self (Donna), Douglas Self (Cindy) and Melanie Self Gotreau (Freddy); his parents-in-law, William B. "Pete" and Christine King; and his sisters-in-law, Jill King, Jena Martino (Thony) and Brande Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (1815 Marshall St, Shreveport, LA 71101). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
