He is survived by: his wife Carol Jewell (Jewell); his children, Ronnie "Dwayne" Pate II (Shelley), Randal Scott Pate and Renee Litalian; his grandchildren, Joshua Pate (Stormi), Elizabeth Simon (Stephen Ying), Jessica Frye (Hayden) and Jacob Pate (Alyse); and his great grandchildren, Kinleigh Pate, Teagan Pate, Bowen Pate, Calder Pate, Emma Frye, Gabriel Brouillete and Zayne Caroline Simon.
