He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Clayton Boyter and Edna Pauline Whitehead Boyter; his wife Mattie Frizzell Boyter; and his siblings, Elizabeth Trouth and Wayne Boyter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Boyter of Rogers and Denise Reynolds of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his granddaughters, Katelyn Reynolds and Sarah Hays; his great grandchild Truitt Jay Hays; and his brother W. E. "Dub" Boyter.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Park West Cemetery (4000 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA 71109).
