With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Mulhern Stewart of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on December 11, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mulhern and Jean Ford Mulhern; her sister Caron Bragg; and her nephew Alan Gross. She is survived by: her husband John Stewart; her cousins, Frank Mulhern of Baton Rouge, Dick Mulhern of Sheboygan, Ricky Mulhern of Clear Lake, Randy Cox of Haughton and Fredonia Seely of Lorena, Texas; her nieces, Allison Gibbs (Dale) of Shreveport, Laura Cairns (Rick) of Austin and Mary Gross of Coppell, Texas; her great-nieces, Caroline Gibbs of Shreveport, Louisiana and Haley Gibbs of Shreveport, Louisiana; and her great-nephew Justin Gross of Durham.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Osborn Funeral Home (3631 Southern Ave, Shreveport, LA 71104). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery (8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA 71108).
